China Mobile has more users than Twitter. Those nearly 1 billion people are all paying their hard-earned cash for the service. China Mobile is a telecom giant established in 1997 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange the same year. It has 974 million mobile customers and 272 million wireline broadband customers. Last year China Mobile accumulated over 600 million 5G package customers. It has a workforce of 450,698 that produced an annual revenue of RMB 937 billion (equivalent to USD 130 billion), with 86.6% attributed to telecom services (as of 31st December 2022).
